An underperforming power generation and carbon capture asset, under construction, was experiencing significant schedule drift and cost overruns. I was engaged to stabilise the project by introducing structured project management, developing a complete suite of operational and safety policies, and realigning the project’s financial framework with its performance objectives. Our intervention delivered renewed control, readiness for commissioning, and ensured the project met both safety and investor performance targets.
2. Distributed Solar Portfolio
A distributed solar portfolio under construction required urgent intervention following the departure of its EPC contractor. I managed the transition to a new EPC, reinstated project governance, and aligned the delivery programme with national operational and compliance standards. By restoring structure, coordination, and accountability, the portfolio was bought back on schedule — safeguarding delivery timelines, operational integrity, and financial returns.
3. Workplace Electrical Accident
I investigated a serious electrical accident on a marine vessel in which an individual sustained severe injuries while performing maintenance activities. The investigation identified latent organisational failures in training, supervision, and procedural control that had accumulated unnoticed over time. The findings led to revised training programmes, updated isolation and verification procedures, and the implementation of a monitoring framework to ensure sustained compliance.
